Radixora is an engineering platform designed to increase the amount of water effectively available within the active root zone while preserving the natural behaviour of the soil.
The project does not seek to replace conventional irrigation systems, nor does it attempt to invent a revolutionary material capable of solving every agricultural problem.
Instead, Radixora approaches irrigation efficiency as a systems engineering challenge.
The platform integrates mature technologies—including engineered soil improvements, commercially available materials, environmental sensing, wireless communications, cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence—into a single coherent ecosystem whose objective is improving the efficiency with which water is stored, distributed and used inside the soil.
The innovation therefore resides in the interaction between existing technologies rather than in any individual component.
