The physical soil, engineered materials, hydraulic behaviour, environmental sensors, communication infrastructure, cloud platform and Artificial Intelligence should never be considered independent solutions.
Their individual performance is important, but their combined behaviour ultimately determines the effectiveness of the platform.
For this reason, every subsystem is evaluated not only according to its own technical characteristics but also according to its ability to integrate with the rest of the architecture.
The objective is achieving overall system optimisation rather than maximising the performance of isolated components.
This distinction is fundamental.
A technically superior component may be rejected if it introduces unnecessary complexity, excessive cost or poor compatibility with the remainder of the system.
Conversely, a simpler solution may be preferred when it contributes to a more robust, maintainable and scalable architecture.
