The purpose of the first prototype is not demonstrating commercial readiness.
Instead, its objective is validating the engineering assumptions upon which the platform is built.
A successful prototype should generate measurable evidence capable of confirming, refining or rejecting the current design hypotheses.
For this reason, prototype development should be regarded as an engineering investigation rather than as the creation of a finished product.
